The Times is on POINT with these Christmas baking articles. My grandma (from Alabama) never made a layer cake, but the article is making me hungry and miss her at the same time: pound cake, coconut cake, 7-up cake were always in the house. Although Grandma was more of a great cook than a baker….all these cakes were bought from the store! :D
