Suck it tree-huggers….oh wait. People always want to cap on big business for…moral(?) reasons. The truth is that these three companies and ones like them can do this sort of thing because 1) they have the cash and market share to afford it and 2) they’re so high profile that they might lose more money by not doing it. It’s smaller enterprises that don’t have the market share, that don’t have the extra $$ sitting around who are fighting these regulations and such because they’re at a much greater risk of going out of business if they’re uniformly applied. Sorry hippies, but you ought to be concentrating your environmental approbriation on smaller businesses.
